Meet CLASS of 2 0 1 6, Abby!

Saturday, November 28, 2015

     This girl is taking on her Senior Year like a BOSS!  Her spirit for adventure & her "this is me"-no pretenses-authenticity is refreshingly unexpected & makes you like her all that much more! Her energy is contagious & she has a smile that that brightens the dullest of occasions.  She is a natural in front of the camera & has a pretty fierce serious game, too!

  Abby, I know you are making some amazing memories your Senior Year!
Thank you for choosing me to photograph this special time!  You are a rare Beauty & I can't wait to see what you do in this big ol' world!

#Flashback Friday to this fun girl!!

Friday, November 13, 2015

Meet Jordan!  A Class of TWENTYsixteen Senior that has the most GORGEOUS smile!  (a pretty fierce serious face, too!)  We shot downtown around some cute shops, hit up the tracks next and then headed to the aquaduct all on a perfect day (well, it ended with torrential down pour, but it was perfect 'til then)!

This girl was amazing even though it was hot enough to fry an egg on the pavement!  Gwen, (aka Jordan's mom)  kept the portable fan close by and ready, but I never saw Jordan sweat!  (I, however, looked like i fell in the creek).

Jordan, thank you for choosing me to take your Senior Portraits!  You are so much fun!  I hope you are making some wonderful memories this year!  It's already November, for pete's sake & May will be here before you know it!

Sweet Summertime with Sam!

Sunday, September 27, 2015

Meet Samantha Fuller, Class of 2016 Greenbrier High School.

I first shot Sam and her 2 sisters about 10 years ago.  Remembering her just as a small kid, I could not believe it when I saw her. She grew up to be a cross between Carrie Underwood and Reese Witherspoon.  Not too bad to be compared to on either side!  The camera absolutely loves her!

We shot on Sam's Dad's property out in Evans.  He runs a large commercial nursery on part and hunts on another part.  It was the perfect setting for a Southern Country shoot!

Sweet MB assisted me and got our gear loaded on 2 golf carts.  MB droveone golf cart and Michelle, Sam's Dad's wife, the other. (I dislike the term "step mother" as it conjures up not so nice images in one's mind thanks to Cinderella and Michelle is anything BUT that!)  We bid the 2 geese Michelle raised good day and headed out to find the light!

And find the light we did.  What beautiful property with so many gorgeous settings.  Woods, ponds, open areas, sunlight, ahhhhh just beautiful!  {Finally, land in Columbia County that isn't being developed.  Now that's what I'm talking about.}

Sam had the perfect look, as well!  Long, wavy hair, perfect makeup by Cameron McCormack and an equally perfect wardrobe to match the setting.  Talk about a trifecta! Light, Setting and Subject, we hit it baby!   {makeup by the talented Cameron McCormack, @muahbycam}

Congrats Samantha!  I hope you are savoring these bittersweet "lasts" of your high school years and making tons of memories you will never forget!
