This is Holly! Class of 2017 graduate!!

Tuesday, October 18, 2016

Holly is one of those girls that just bubbles over with joy!  She's always smiling and everyone loves her!  It's easy to see why, because not only is she pretty on the outside, she has a pretty soul inside to match!

Holly has been swimming since she was a wee guppie and hopes to continue competitively in college.  We shot the first few on a gorgeous day at the pool where she lifeguards.  Looking back on these, I'm reminded how hot it was despite how gorgeous she looks and makes me appreciate this cooler fall weather ; )  The latter were shot in a natural setting and we snapped a few with her K9 family member, Piper!  I love the organic print on her romper and how well it blends with the surroundings :)  We finished the shoot with some "action" shots, trying to get a fun shot of her cooling off.  It wasn't easy and we tried until we were out of water but I think we got a keeper.

Here are a few from her Senior Session.  Holly, Congratulations on your Senior Year.  I hope you take time to just breathe and enjoy the year!!  Thank you for letting me be your Senior Portrait tog!!
You rock!

because I'm thinking about food!!

We shot these a while back at my favorite burger joint in Augusta, FARMHAUS.
If you haven't been, you MUST!   They have the BEST burgers, shakes & atmosphere in my unbiased opinion a la Anderson Cooper.  At least the original spot does as I haven't been to the Evans location, although I hear good things.

Corinne is a fan, as well, so we decided to order to go on our way downtown to shoot her senior portraits and thought, why not?

Here are some of my faves!  Mmmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!

Enjoy!

This is Tori!! Class of TwentySeventeen!

Tuesday, September 27, 2016

Infectious smile & laugh.  That's what I remember most about this lovely 2017 graduate!  I dubbed her 'pumpkin' from the first time I met her.  I guess because she's so adorable, but that's what I call Miss Tori.  I admire the way she isn't afraid to be herself.  She knows how to have fun without worrying about what she looks like to others.  She takes chances and I like that.

Smart, full of life & a big heart, here are some of my favorites from
her Senior Session.

Congratulations on making it to the top, Tori!!  You deserve all the best in this life and I have no doubt you will be successful at whatever you do!  Cheers to Senior Year!!  Go make some memories :)

Meet Cameron! Class of TWENTY SEVENTEEN!

Thursday, September 15, 2016

I first met this class of 2017 cutie when she was in pre-k with my son, Jack.
They later played tennis on the same USTA team for several years, winning state for their age group once or twice (insert emoji with teeth chattering).
Anyway, my point is I've watched her go from this little bitty girl & to a high school senior!  Wow!  We share many great memories with her and her family & I simply adore her.  I am so happy I got to photograph her!

Easy breezy fun was how I'd describe this shoot!  Amazing location?  check.
Fabulous light?  check.  Gorgeous senior with fab hair & mu?  check & check!  Style on point?  check!  Throw in a helpful boyfriend that doubled as my assistant; a mom who played caddie/cart driver; an adorable dog with some sassy 'westitude', and you've got a fun shoot that was a piece of cake!

One great perk to my job is getting to be outside in some beautiful settings with wildlife.  We shot at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans & the gorgeous Oak trees we came across, the marsh of Euchee Creek & the incredible sunset over the Savannah River were just as much a part of the shots as my camera and Cameron.  There were some incredible clouds that evening over the river, and we saw a couple of deer & some strange looking squirrels, too.

Cameron was so much fun to shoot, a trooper & up for anything!  She didn't even flinch when asked to walk out on a tree that had fallen across the river.  Well, maybe there was a slight flinch ; )....hey, don't judge! It was the perfect spot for a snake or 3! (thankfully, we saw none!)

Congratulations, Cameron, on making it to the top!  I hope your Senior year is all you hoped it would be and more!
