Happy Monday everyone! Welcome to our first Makeup Monday post! Every Monday we will post a new tutorial on different makeup trends that would be great for your Fresh Senior photo session!
Today, we chose an awesome picture of Emma Stone for our makeup inspiration! Her makeup is very subtle but has great pops of color! She looks young, vibrant, happy and FRESH!
We started by applying a liquid foundation to even the skin tone. We used Maybelline FITme Foundation in 115 and added a little concealer under the eyes. We set the foundation with Maybelline's Mineral Powder.
We filled in the eyebrows with a light brown eye brow pencil by Cover Girl. Eye brows are VERY important facial features! They frame your face! So filling them in a little bit can go a long way! We kept the eye shadow very simple by using two neutral colors from Urban Decay's NAKED palet. The lighter color we used as the base and brushed it over the whole eyelid. The darker color we used in the outer corners of the lid. This helps create dimension! To finish up the eyes, we used a liquid black eye liner pen, by Revlon, and added two coats of Rimmel mascara. We put eyeliner above the top lash-line ONLY! Keeping the bottom lash-line free of eyeliner opens up your eyes, making them appear bigger!
Next, we added light pink blush, by Clinique, to the apple of the cheeks! Smiling while applying blush makes the apples easy to spot!
To finish it off we applied a pink lipstick, by Sephora, that enhanced the natural color of the lips!
There you have it!
Make sure you check back later this week for What to Wear Wednesday and Fixed Friday!
