Meet Emily! Class of 2016!

She may look like she's all serious and quiet, but believe me, this girl is FUN! She dies laughing when I try to get a serious shot (which she does really well, btw) & her smile & joy are contagious!  She loves music, plays several instruments & is a rock star in my eyes!  With a heart after God, she's the real deal!  I love young people who live out what they believe!  Emily, I'm sooooo happy I got to take your Senior Pictures!  I know God has amazing things planned for you and I can't wait to see what they are!

Meet Mary Will

This cold weather has me longing for summertime!  Seems like as soon as it's colder for more than a week, I'm ready for heat!  

These images from Mary Will's sesh back in July give me all sorts of feels for sweet summertime.  While I sit here bundled in flannel, I can't help but dream about warm sunshine, palms, flip flops, sitting outside for lunch, soft breezes & listening to a symphony of frogs late in the evening.  Ahhhhhh....  

Back to reality.

I had such a good time with MW & her mom!  Her boho style fits perfectly with her free spirit.  I couldn't have asked for a more perfect session.  From her flowy topped romper to her roman kicks & cutoffs, to her sundresses, she was perfect! And shout out to Cameron McCormack for fab makeup and hair!

Thanks for choosing me, Mary Will, to take your Senior Portraits!  I think we did a pretty good job &

MEET RUTHIE!

This absolutely ADORABLE, tiny but fierce, crazy fun Senior
was a blast to shoot! {& yes, she's as smart as she is gorgeous!} 
She was happy the whole time, laughing, & smiling & it was hot enough to be anything but! 
 Especially when you're wearing long sleeves and 
the photographer wants to take "just a few more shots".  

We shot these back in June at her house, which was alright, I guess.
KIDDING...Um, it was perfect!  Huge oaks, magnolias, double staircase,
a true southern home out of the pages of history! 
(for real...it was originally built in 1751 in downtown 
Augusta and later moved to it's current location).  (& yes, I'm behind on blogging, but it's a new year, so there's always....naaah) 

Well, Ruthie!  YOUR HALF WAY THERE, girl!  It will be Spring Break before you know it and then you can really get stoked!  Thanks for letting me shoot your Senior Pics!  I am so happy I got to be a small part of your Senior Year!  heart emoji here!

Meet CAROLINE!

First impression, she reminds me of Audrey Hepburn.  The dark hair, delicate frame, big doe eyes & great facial bone structure we'd all kill for- just a few things that they have in common.  

This classic natural beauty isn't just a pretty face, though.  She is a rare soul with integrity (not afraid to stand up for what she believes in), brains (crazy smart!)  & a big ol' heart!  What a lethal combination!  

Caroline, I am so glad I got to know you this year!  You are a prize to be treasured by all you meet!  Thank you so much for allowing me to document this special part of your life!  You rock girl!
