Anna is awesome! She has a sweet spirit & a kind heart. She's funny, gorgeous, smart, & athletic. I'd say she was dealt a pretty good hand all around. She spikes a mean ball on the volleyball court and isn't too shabby on the tennis court, either.
Her session was really fun! She had some great outfits and ideas for what style shoot she wanted. We went for urban, as well as nature, and couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day.
We started downtown and found some cool spots. Even found one with the number '17' which happened to be the year she would graduate and worked it into the background ; ) The colors of the brick & the metal on the wall blended really well with her top on those, too. And then her eyes. Her eyes are amazing and looked like they would jump out of the lens at me. So pretty!
On the 2nd half of the shoot, She wore a blue sleeveless dress I loved and when she pulled the top part of her hair back, I felt a bit of a '60's vibe and it was amazing! I remember a big blow of wind came out of nowhere but we went with it and got a shot that is one of my all time faves! { I love me some wind shots!} Her tie died maxi was one of her faves and the playfulness of her in a chair in the water made for some great shots! She also can rock some serious looks, so there's another win-win for this sweet girl!!
Anna, I'm so happy I took your senior pictures. I know next year you are going to have so much fun as a Gamecock! Congrats on all your hard work! The University of South Carolina is lucky to have you!
I hope you make some great memories these last weeks of your senior year & soak in all the feels that graduation brings! Cheers to the next chapter!!

This is Caitlin! Class of Twenty Seventeen :)
Monday, April 17, 2017
It's pretty easy to see how adorable Caitlin is, that's undeniable. She's funny & sweet, too. She's not just a pretty little face on a pretty little frame, though. Oh no, my friends, she's got a brain that measures way beyond the average. She's spent a lot of time flexing those brain muscles and her hard work and perseverance have paid off. With acceptance from too many top schools to list, Caitlin has chosen to be part of BROWN UNIVERSITY, CLASS OF 2021. Wow. Impressive.
I can say I knew her when, though, when she wins the nobel peace prize or discovers a cure for cancer (for real). Voted "most likely to succeed", she will NOT disappoint.
I've known Caitlin and her family for years, spending our share of hot, summer days watching (us parents watching and our kids playing) tennis matches together and having fun at tournaments all over Georgia making some great memories. Where did the time go?
I was so excited to shoot Caitlin's senior portraits! She showed me ahead of time what style of images she liked and they were right up my alley, so to speak. We got to catch up with what we'd been up to lately and just mess around and relax while shooting. She was completely a natural in front of the camera and
a ton of fun, as well! The lighting was dreamy and locations perfect for the timeless outfits chosen.
Caitlin, I'm thrilled your dream has come true! You are a testament as to what hard work & self discipline afford. I can NOT wait to see what you do in the world. I know your parents are so proud, as should be, and will miss you next year. There's only a few weeks left of your senior year, so make the most of it! CHEERS, girl!

Well, Hello Sara! Class of 2017!
Thursday, April 13, 2017
Sara is the real deal. I love that about her. No false pretenses, just a funny, smart, hardworking, beauty that will be graduating in about 6 weeks.
It was great meeting Sara at our consultation, discussing what she wanted for her senior session. I knew it would be killer! Everything she mentioned, from clothing to settings, pumped me up because everything she was wanting was going to be cool!
From her timeless summer denim shorts & red cut out top to her hippie lace dress, bare feet, & messy hair with a flower crown, I just knew.
We started casually with a simple, no fuss solid sundress that she wore flawlessly with some classic kicks! An understated look that flattered and put the focus on her, the subject of the image ; ). I loved the texture of the pine needles & putting her in the woods in this outfit. The green & blue with her doe eyes, just amazing.
Next, we shot at a location with some cool rocks & a small pond. We had great light that reflected the puffy white clouds in the water behind her & found some tiny wild flowers that were on point with her denim look! Changing to the dress, for the final shots, was almost too much! The sky, the light, the naturalness of the setting & her authenticity made it easy to capture the real her. She looked amazing, which translated into a confident vibe which lead to some amazing shots! I mean it was fabulous!
One of the things I loved about Sara's looks were that in her shots in black and white, I'm not sure you'd be able to tell what year they were taken. All of the outfits were timeless & classic, just like Sara.
Sara, I'm so glad I got to know you this year. Thank you for trusting me to capture the real you as a senior.
You are such a joy and I can't wait to see what you do in this great big ol' world! Here are a few of my faves from your session! Good times!
ps. tell your Mom thanks for being a great assistant
